We hope that the frequently asked questions below can answer most of
your questions. However, please do not hesitate to contact
us if you have any additional questions, concerns, or comments.
1. Are your services guaranteed?
Absolutely! If you are not 100% satisfied, you get money
back.
2. What types of music do you play?
We can, and probably have, played just about anything.
From polkas to rap, we have a database of over 50,000 songs.
In other words, we probably have anything you want. If for
some reason we don't, we'll get it at no extra charge to you!
3. Do you take requests from guests?
Of course we do! Our entertainers try to accommodate both
you and your guests. Finding out and playing what your guests
want to hear is an essential part of a successful event. We
will always check with you before playing a request that might be
"Inappropriate."
4. Can we make song requests during
the dance?
Absolutely! The show will be tailored to your requests.
5. Will the entertainer take any
breaks?
There will be continuous music from start to finish, unless
there is a scheduled pause for an announcement, blessing, toast,
etc. Our equipment allows for us to sneak away without
interruption if we need to use the bathroom or to grab a drink of
water.
6. How do your entertainers interact
with our guests?
The success of your event will hinge on the ability of the
entertainer to develop a relationship with you and your
guests. Unless requested not to do so by our clients, our
entertainers are trained in dozens of interactions and activities
designed to get your guests involved. These range from low key
and elegant, to wild and crazy. It's your choice.
7. What are your policies regarding sound
volume?
You have most likely spent thousands of dollars on your event
and an incredible amount of time planning it. Your requests on
sound volume is one of our top priorities
8. What kind of sound equipment do you use?
We use Bose and F.B.T. powered sound equipment
exclusively. You wouldn't buy a generic champagne for your
event, so why use generic sound equipment? Our goal is to
produce high quality full sounds, not loud volume.
9. If we want our entertainer to play longer,
what do we do?
Check with your entertainer and the venue first. If both
are in agreement, then your entertainer will arrange an extra charge
based on the amount of time requested. Depending on the
original amount of time requested, this fee may be little to
nothing. However, should an additional charge be necessary, it
must be paid to the entertainer in cash before the additional time
begins.
10. What will the entertainer be wearing to my
event?
Unless you specify differently, our entertainers wear tuxedos to
all formal events and semi-formal dress for all other events.
11. What time will the entertainer arrive at
for my event?
Our entertainers arrive at least one hour prior to their
scheduled start time in order to setup and perform a sound-check.
12. Can we talk to our entertainer before our
event?
In all cases, you will know and talk to your entertainer before
you even sign a contract. This person will also be the only
person you work with while contracted with E.A. Entertainment.
They will guide you through the planning process, contact you the
week of your event, and in most cases they can arrange a time to
meet in person before your event. We want all our clients to
feel as though they are our only clients.
13. How many songs can be played 4, 6, & 8
hour blocks of time?
Typically, we can play about 15 - 18 songs an hour. So
about 70, 100, & 130 songs respectively.
14. If we don't want a song played, what do we
do?
During the planning process, we will go over any songs you absolutely
do not want to hear. We will note these songs on the
specifications for your event and you will have nothing to worry
about.
15. What if an entertainer is sick or has car
troubles?
We always have contingency plans in place for just such
occasions. Extra vehicles and entertainers are always on
standby if an unforeseen problem were to come up. In the
entire time E.A. Entertainment has been in operation, we have never
missed an event.
16. When should we pay the balance?
Anytime before or on the date of your event is acceptable.
17. Do we need to offer the entertainer food?
Although it is not required, eight hours or more is a long time
to go without a meal. Our entertainers would greatly
appreciate the offer.
18. Should we tip the entertainer?
Tipping the entertainer for an outstanding performance is a nice
way to thank them and is very much appreciated, but tipping is
optional.
